waIT THE MACARENA IS ABOUT A GIRL CHEATING ON HER BOYFRIEND WITH TWO OF HIS FRIENDS AND THEN ASKING A BUNCH OF OTHER GUYS TO COME SLEEP WITH HER?????!?!?!?!?!?!?
AYYYYY MACARENA

The original “pillow talk” scene had Marla saying “I want to have your abortion”. When this was objected to by Fox 2000 Pictures President of Production Laura Ziskin, David Fincher said he would change it on the proviso that the new line couldn’t be cut. Ziskin agreed and Fincher wrote the replacement line, “I haven’t been fucked like that since grade school”. When Ziskin saw the new line, she was even more outraged and asked for the original line to be put back, but, as per their deal, Fincher refused.
call me old fashion but i think your shorts should be longer than your vagina
do you ever just feel like you’re just completely worthless and unattractive on a physical and emotional level and you’re just never good enough because there’s always someone else that overpowers you with their pretty face and personality and you just instantly back down because you feel you have literally nothing to fight against with

The message of Twilight is indeed to find love. And to stay with that love even if it is physically, mentally or emotionally damaging to you. The messages of Harry Potter are the importance of friendship, love (not necessarily romantic), intelligence (not necessarily of the book kind), courage (which can be the smallest thing imaginable) and acceptance.
Harry Potter actually tells us how to make important decisions. It tells us that sometimes you will face problems that are about more than just you. It tells you that sometimes you have to be selfless. And that sometimes you have to be selfish.
Harry Potter is about a group of smart, courageous, loving, wonderful characters trying to defeat Lord Voldemort. Which, by the way, is a metaphor for the power of friendship and love. Harry Potter tells us that friendship is so, so much more important than power.
Harry Potter is absolutely beautifully written, and the character development is the best I’ve ever seen. If you want an example, take Neville Longbottom. Over the course of seven years and seven books, he changes from a scared, shy, self-deprecating little boy who thinks he’s useless into a brave, resilient, intelligent, self-sacrificing and self-confident young man.
Harry Potter got eight movies, the last book was split into two because there is too much important and intricate detail to fit into one movie. The last Twilight book was split into two movies in an attempt to copy Harry Potter in order to make more money.
Edward and Jacob, as far as I can tell, are rather flat characters. I’m not really in a position to judge here. Ron Weasley also has some frankly amazing character development. He makes mistakes, he acknowledges them and he learns from them.
Hermione Granger is wonderful. She is intelligent, compassionate, loyal, dependable, and brave. And one of the most wonderful things about her is that she knows it. She knows that she’s good. She doesn’t moon around pretending to dislike herself, she just gets on with her life. But the absolute best thing about Hermione Granger is that she didn’t let romantic love take over her life. When the love of her life left, she kept going. She didn’t shut down.
That is why Harry Potter is and always will be the best, most wonderful, most brilliant book series of all time.
Probably the most accurate thing ever.
